The Terminal Procedures Search application allows searching, viewing, and downloading of the U.S. Terminal Procedure Publications ( TPPs ) as PDF files, known as d-TPP . The d-TPP is a presentation of the same data in the TPPs but as individual PDF files. The TPP is a 24-volume set of printed paper books covering the conterminous US, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands plus a volume covering Alaska, the Alaska Terminal Publication (ATP). The Pacific TPPs are included in the Chart Supplement Pacific. The TPPs contain Instrument Approach Procedure charts (IAP), Departure Procedure charts (DP), Standard Terminal Arrival charts (STAR), CVFP and Airport Diagrams (AD). Also included are Takeoff, Radar, and Alternate Minima textual procedures. The minima textual data are presented as multi-page PDFs covering the minimum sections of each of the printed TPP volumes. Legend and general information pages printed in the TPP books are also presented here as multi-page PDF files.
Hot Spot information forewarns pilots and others operating in the movement area of the airport of confusing airport geometry and intersections. Do not confuse the TPP Hot Spot pages with the Chart Supplement Hot Spot pages. TPP Hot Spot pages describe the location while the Chart Supplement Hot Spot pages describe the location and provides additional cautionary information. Please see the Chart Supplement back matter pages which lists the location and provides additional cautionary information.
20 days prior to the publication date, both the current and next edition files of the d-TPP are available for search and download.
TPP
The paper volumes (ex. AK, EC1, etc.) of the TPPs are published every 56 days and are also available as Electronic Version of Paper TPPs (see below). The charts include side identifiers that cover the 56-day period (for example, 10OCT19-05DEC19). In the interim, we publish a Change Notice that has an effective period of 28 days during the second half of the 56-day period. The Change Notice is published to update the TPPs prior to the next 56-day effective date with new, revised or cancelled Instrument Approach Procedures. Generally, Alaska procedures, Pacific procedures, Airport Diagrams, Departure Procedures and Standard Terminal Arrival Procedures are not published in the Notice unless there is a critical safety issue.
d-TPP
The d-TPP is published every 28 days and is available through the Terminal Procedures Search above or the Digital-Terminal Procedures Publication (Complete) (see below). Because we reprocess all chart files for the d-TPP (all ~17000 files every 28 days), we publish the d-TPP with a 28-day side identifier. The d-TPP that is published on the 28-day Change Notice effective date has the Change Notice charts incorporated into it.
With both products, you must review the Change Notice publication to capture changes made on the 28-day interim period prior to the 56-day effective date. To obtain these changes in d-TPP, select the Change Notice effective date (indicated by *) and use the Added and Changed Filter as options in the Advanced Search function.
